I Was Subscribed Without Consent After Using OnlineCV Resume
I paid €0.95 on the OnlineCV website on June 20th to make a resume, thinking it was a one-time purchase. I never knowingly signed up for a subscription at any time in the process. But on June 27, they abruptly tried to take €29.95 from my account without telling me or getting my permission first. I was never told that a subscription had been turned on. There is no way to see or stop any recurring payments on their site, which is much worse. I sent an email and used the chat tool on their website to get in touch with customer help, but no one has answered. I had to call my bank and tell them to stop this merchant from charging me again. This seems really unfair and dishonest.
