I Can’t Access My Ome TV Account on New Phone Due to Previous Owner’s Ban
I recently bought a new phone, and ever since, I’ve been unable to access my Ome TV account because the previous owner of the device appears to have been banned from the app. When I installed the Ome TV app and tried to log in, I received a ban notification—even though my personal account has never been banned.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the problem remains. The ban seems to be linked to the device or IP, not the account. I’m completely locked out of the app, and there’s no option to log out of the banned session or contact support through the app itself.
This is extremely frustrating because I’m being punished for something I didn’t do, and I have no way to fix it on my own. Ome TV needs to implement a system that differentiates between users, especially on secondhand devices. I’m asking the Ome TV team to lift the device ban or provide a way for me to verify my account and continue using the service.
