Ome TV App Scam? Paying to Remove Repeated Unfair Bans
I’m using the Ome TV app on my iPhone in Germany, and over the last four sessions, my account has been banned unfairly, even though I did not violate any rules.
Most recently, last night, I once again received the message “You are banned” with no explanation provided. Each time this happens, I’ve had to pay €11 to have my account reinstated, and in total I’ve lost €33.
My user ID is 326250495. I contacted customer support about this issue but never received a response.
I request that the app take a more careful and fair approach to banning users, that my account be reinstated, and that measures be taken to prevent unjust bans in the future.
I also believe that many other users are facing the same problem, and I urge the developers to improve the system to prevent such unfair situations.
