I Found Two Conflicting Expiry Labels on Off! Lotion I Bought from Watsons
I recently purchased a bottle of Off! mosquito repellent lotion from Watsons, and I’m extremely concerned about what I discovered. Although the packaging displays a 2024 production date, I noticed that the label seemed layered. Out of curiosity, I peeled back the top sticker—and underneath it, the original packaging clearly showed a 2023 production date.
This raises serious questions: Was this product re-labeled to appear newer than it is? If so, who is responsible—Watsons or SC Johnson? Regardless, this is deceptive and potentially dangerous, especially when it involves a product applied to skin, including children's skin.
Customers trust the labeling on personal care products for their health and safety. Misleading expiration or manufacturing dates break that trust completely.
I demand a clear explanation and investigation into this issue, along with the removal of any falsely labeled products from shelves. Please take accountability and respond urgently.
