Nuxe Sun SPF 50 Facial Sunscreen Triggers Severe Allergic Reaction and Facial Swelling
On April 12, 2026, I applied Nuxe Sun SPF 50 Facial Sunscreen—purchased from a Duty-Free store—for the first time. Within approximately one hour of application, I experienced severe facial burning and acute itching. By the following day, my entire face and eye area suffered from pronounced swelling, a severe reaction that has persisted for five consecutive days.
To manage this condition, I have been forced to undergo intensive medical care, including oral allergy medication, prescription antibiotic eye cream, and intravenous (IV) antihistamine treatments. I have no history of allergic reactions or skin sensitivity to facial sunscreens. Experiencing such a severe dermatological failure from a premium, dermatologically tested product points to potential formulation defects, batch contamination, or compromised quality control.
I demand that Nuxe Paris immediately process a full refund for the product. Furthermore, I demand that Nuxe’s quality assurance team conduct a formal laboratory safety audit and batch inspection on this product line to prevent further health risks to consumers.
