Nuxe Sun SPF 50 Facial Sunscreen Triggers Severe Allergic Reaction and Facial Swelling

On April 12, 2026, I applied Nuxe Sun SPF 50 Facial Sunscreen—purchased from a Duty-Free store—for the first time. Within approximately one hour of application, I experienced severe facial burning and acute itching. By the following day, my entire face and eye area suffered from pronounced swelling, a severe reaction that has persisted for five consecutive days.

To manage this condition, I have been forced to undergo intensive medical care, including oral allergy medication, prescription antibiotic eye cream, and intravenous (IV) antihistamine treatments. I have no history of allergic reactions or skin sensitivity to facial sunscreens.
