Nissan Dealer Service Failure – Bursa Nilüfer Sertepe

I am writing with disappointment on behalf of a family that has trusted the Nissan brand for many years and has willingly recommended it to others. My father purchased a 2024 Nissan Qashqai 1.3 DIG-T from the Bursa Nilüfer Sertepe dealer. As he was out of town on the delivery date, I collected the vehicle myself following the dealer’s instructions. We assumed the process was properly completed. However, 6–7 months later, we were contacted and informed that the vehicle should not have been delivered without a power of attorney, that this was a sales representative’s mistake, and that my father had to personally visit the dealership to sign documents. It is unacceptable that the consequences of such a basic procedural error by an authorized dealer were imposed on the customer months later, causing unnecessary travel and time loss. This raises serious concerns about the professionalism of this dealership and how it represents the Nissan brand. A further issue occurred last week. An appointment was booked at the Sertepe dealer for the vehicle’s 15,000 km maintenance. Despite being ill, my father went to the service center early in the morning, only to be informed upon arrival that the service center was under renovation and that the maintenance could only be performed at the Osmangazi branch. If the service center was known to be unavailable, an appointment should never have been scheduled. The absence of any prior notification by phone or SMS demonstrates poor planning and communication. It is unacceptable for a sick customer to be inconvenienced in this manner. Frankly, the Sertepe dealer operates in an unprofessional and poorly supervised way. Allowing such practices to represent Nissan damages your brand image and customer trust. My father, once a loyal Nissan customer, has now lost confidence due to these experiences. This loss of trust is not due to the vehicle itself, but to dealership mismanagement and lack of oversight. I request that this matter be taken seriously, that the Sertepe dealer be properly investigated, and that a written response be provided.
