Nike's Failure To Refund Despite Consumer Arbitration Committee Decision
On April 29, 2023, I purchased a pair of shoes through Nike Turkey’s official website. I later returned the product and on June 13, 2024, I was informed that my return had been approved. However, despite the considerable time that has passed since then, no refund has been made to my account. During this process, I contacted Nike multiple times. I spoke on the phone 6–7 times and repeatedly sent all the requested documents via e-mail. Since the product price of ₺2,799 was still not refunded, I applied to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, and on August 15, 2025, a decision was issued in my favor. I also notified Nike of this decision both by phone and by e-mail. Despite all this, Nike refuses to comply with the decision of the Consumer Arbitration Committee and claims that the payment has already been made, stating that they will not make any further payment. The ₺2,799 I paid back in 2023 has significantly lost value against inflation as of today, which is further increasing my grievance. Despite the binding decision of the Consumer Arbitration Committee, Nike Turkey has still not carried out the refund payment. I request that the amount of ₺2,799 be transferred to my account together with the legal interest and that my grievance caused by this entire process be remedied urgently.
I returned the shoes I purchased on 29.04.2023 in my return process with Nike, received approval on 13.06.2024, but the refund was never made. I have repeatedly contacted them by phone and email; the Consumer Arbitration Board ruled in my favor, yet Nike says they have not paid. I am now demanding that ₺2799 plus legal interest be deposited into my account.
