Nike Black Shorts Faded After 5 Wears and the Store Refused Exchange or Refund
On 10th June 2024, we purchased a new season pair of black shorts from Nike Store at Zorlu Center Shopping Mall. Although the shorts were worn a maximum of 5 times in two months throughout the summer and washed in accordance with the washing instructions, the color faded. The black color started to turn slightly reddish. Thereupon, we told the Nike store that there was a defect in the product. It was taken for examination. After about 22-23 days, we received a funny response stating that there was no manufacturing defect in the product and that no exchange or refund could be made. We saw the same product on a citizen who we did not know outside and we saw the same problem with that short, with the color faded even more. That shorts almost turned into brick red. It is a very simple move for a worldwide brand not to stand behind its faulty product. It does not suit Nike at all. It is also a separate question mark that the brand we bought with confidence in quality is decreasing its quality! From here, I am also calling out to the authorized unit of the Nike company; if the necessary compensation is not provided on this issue, I will first take the issue to Consumer Rights with the necessary evidence and documents and take the process to the next authorities.
