Netflix Charged Me for the Highest Package Without My Consent After I Subscribed

My Netflix subscription began on September 3, 2024, with the basic, lowest-cost package. However, on September 18, 2024, I discovered that Netflix had charged me for the highest-tier bundle without my agreement or approval. This was done without my knowledge, and I had no notice of any changes to my account or plan. As a result, I quickly deleted my membership because I did not consent to the price. I am now demanding that the additional amount charged to my card be reimbursed as soon as possible. I'm hoping Netflix can handle this fast and refund my money, as I did not authorize the upgrade to a more expensive service.

I corresponded with customer service. I activated the subscription on 03.09.2024. On 04.09.2024, one day later, my subscription was upgraded from standard to Premium. The children might have made the change without realizing it. They charged 149 TL for the first payment, and because the subscription was upgraded one day later, they charged an additional 299 TL on 18.09.2024. The cost for one month of usage came to 450 TL. I did not expect this from Netflix. I will file a dispute with my credit card company.

I think Netflix admitted the mistake. They refunded the 299 TL that was recently charged to my card. However, I don't know how we can trust and open a subscription from now on.
