My MSI Laptop Shuts Down Randomly Whenever I Adjust the Screen Angle

July 2 10:50 PM

I purchased my MSI Thin A15 laptop (AMD Ryzen 5 7000 series, RTX 4050) about a year ago through Hepsiburada. However, I've recently been experiencing serious issues with both the hardware and performance.
First of all, when the screen is open and I slightly adjust the angle of the display, the computer suddenly shuts down completely without any warning. This happens every time I need to change the screen position while carrying or using the device, and shutting down suddenly during work or gaming causes both data loss and difficulty using the machine.
In addition to this, I'm experiencing serious performance drops, especially while gaming. In games like CS2 or ETS2, I get frame rates between 180-220 FPS for the first roughly 20 minutes, but the moment the turbo fan kicks in, the FPS suddenly drops to the 30-60 range. Having this kind of problem while the device is plugged in, not in low-power mode, and with no performance-limiting settings enabled is absolutely unacceptable for a laptop at this hardware level.
I haven't contacted MSI technical service or the seller yet. While the product is still under warranty, I am requesting that both the shutdown issue that occurs when the screen is adjusted and the FPS drop that happens when the turbo fan activates be diagnosed, that the necessary repairs be made — including part replacement if needed — to fully resolve these problems, and that the laptop be made to run properly, smoothly, and stably as it should.
