Microsoft Locked My Account After Hack Despite Verifying It Was Mine

My Microsoft account was compromised on May 14, 2025. An unauthorized user added a suspicious email address (bonniewebster1***@sarcomails.ru) as the primary contact and changed my phone number. I noticed the breach and regained access by resetting the password on May 15, but Microsoft imposed a 30-day security waiting period, preventing me from changing the primary email. On May 20, the unauthorized user attempted access again, but I secured the account completely. Despite providing strong evidence of ownership (purchase receipts, access history, device info, etc.), Microsoft permanently suspended my account on May 27 without offering a proper recovery option. They claimed they have no authority to reverse the email change and referred me to create a new account and re-purchase the services I already paid for. I haven’t had access to my account or data for 38 days now. This is unacceptable. Microsoft should not punish the rightful owner while allowing changes made by a malicious user to stand. I demand my account to be restored and ownership recognized.
