MG HS Power Liftgate Warning Beep Stopped Working

The electronic power liftgate on my 2023 MG HS SUV previously made an audible warning sound whenever it opened or closed. However, approximately two days ago, the warning chime suddenly stopped working. There is no sound when I operate the liftgate with the key fob, the exterior button while standing next to the vehicle, or manually. All of the vehicle's other warning sounds continue to function normally; only the liftgate warning beep has stopped.

I checked the vehicle menus one by one but could not find any setting that allows me to enable or disable this sound. I suspect the issue may involve interference between the primary and spare keys or another electronic cause, but I cannot determine the exact reason. Even though there is no MG service center in the province where I live, I am repeatedly being told to bring the vehicle to a service location for what appears to be a relatively simple issue.

This is not my first vehicle. When I experienced similar problems with other brands, their service departments guided me over the phone and helped me troubleshoot the issue step by step. I believe an MG technician who understands the vehicle's electronic systems should also be able to guide me remotely through basic checks before requiring a service visit.

I contacted both the Elazığ and Diyarbakır MG service centers, but both only told me to bring the vehicle in for inspection. Traveling such a long distance would create a serious burden for me, especially when several simple troubleshooting steps could first be attempted remotely. I expected guidance on checking the key fob, interior and exterior buttons, vehicle settings, or the relevant fuse panel.

I request that MG arrange a phone or remote consultation with a qualified technician who is familiar with the MG HS electrical system. I want clear, step-by-step instructions on what I should check, and I should only be directed to a service center if the problem cannot be resolved remotely. I expect MG to provide practical remote technical support and take a more customer-focused approach to resolving this issue.
