In April 2023, I purchased an MG ZS EV from an authorized dealership, but I have faced numerous issues with the vehicle and poor service from both MG and Özkurlar service center.
After delivery, I discovered that my car was actually a 2022 model, despite the sales documents stating it was a 2023 model.
Shortly after I started driving, I noticed strange noises from the steering wheel. I took it to service multiple times, but they dismissed the issue without opening a service record. The center armrest also started making noise, and even after repeated visits, they only promised a replacement without action.
The steering loosened, making the vehicle unstable on the road. Again, service centers dismissed the issue until they finally replaced the steering rack. However, within a week, the problem returned, and they once again claimed nothing was wrong. I escalated the issue to MG headquarters in November, requesting an inspection by a senior team. They delayed the appointment until February without confirmation and later told me to drop my car off at Özkurlar with no timeline for further investigation.
After a minor accident, the right rear door was replaced at service, but poor insulation caused water leakage into the interior during the first rainfall, soaking the floor carpet. When I returned to service, they admitted fault and said they would redo the insulation and replace the floor mat, but no service record was created, and I was denied a replacement car. After escalating my complaint, a replacement vehicle was provided, and I was told repairs would take three days. However, when I collected my car, I found it had been driven 17 km. I requested camera footage, but both the service center and MG refused to provide it. They also admitted that they had not replaced the soaked carpet, and as expected, the poor insulation led to another water leak, completely drenching the interior again.
Despite being told "there is no issue," my car required a steering rack replacement and continues to have unresolved safety and quality control problems. MG and Özkurlar have compromised my safety and financial investment by failing to properly address these issues.
