MEXC Exchange Transaction Fee and Profit Share Not Fair

August 14, 2023 1:11 AM1,421

I used to trade in futures at a company called Mexc Global. I had set up a sell order in their system to trigger when I reached a certain profit, entering at 0.0444 and setting the sell order at 0.0442. Even though the price dropped below the limit I had set for my short position, Mexc ended up selling not based on my specified amount but at the initial entry price. This action essentially took away my $70 profit and, on top of that, charged me a $5.5 transaction fee. In essence, Mexc proved to be an unreliable and deceptive company with poor customer support. I strongly advise against getting involved with them due to their unprofessional practices. If anyone asks, their live support claims that they had mentioned possible deviations in futures trading, as if that justifies their actions. Why is there always a deviation when it comes to selling? My advice is to stay away from them; they even eat into people's hard-earned money.

Dear MEXC Member, First of all, we wish you a good day. As mentioned to you when placing a TP SL Order, the order is executed at the best price between the price you set and the market price when triggered during market fluctuations. In other words, minor deviations may occur in TP SL orders. For your order to be executed in futures trading, there must be a buyer on the opposite side, and only then can your order be executed and your position transferred. If your TP price is triggered, a sell order is created at the best market price at that moment. Additionally, the transaction fee is added to the realized PNL, and if applicable, the funding fee is either added or paid to you. Therefore, while the unrealized PNL appears as positive (+), it can become negative (-) as a result of your take profit or stop loss order. When you select TP/SL, you are essentially saying "sell at market price when the price reaches this point." If you want to close the position at a specific price, you need to place a market maker order to do so. MEXC Turkey Official ŞikayetVar Team

Forget about it, brother. This isn't our first time doing this. Explain this nonsense to someone naive. What deviation are you talking about when the market is only slightly dropping? It's not like it suddenly plummeted by 30%. Tell these lies to the small-timers trading with 200-300 dollars.
