I Get $140 Funding Fees on MEXC MYX/USDT Perpetual Futures Despite $30 Profit
Yesterday I opened a standard futures position on MEXC – MYX/USDT. The trade itself showed about $30 profit, yet within 24 hours my balance was reduced by a total of $140 in so-called funding fees, turning the outcome into a $108 loss. On similar positions my funding cost is typically under $1, so this unusually high deduction looks wrong and needs a clear explanation.
I contacted support and was told only that “it’s a funding fee,” with no breakdown of the funding rate, intervals, notional size, mark/index price, or time stamps used in the calculation. This has not happened on my other trades; it appears to be a one-off issue tied to this order.
Action requested: Please provide an itemized ledger for this position (all funding snapshots and rates applied) and correct any miscalculation by crediting the excess back to my account. My account number is 7927**36. I expect a prompt review, a transparent explanation of the funding-fee math, and a timely resolution so I can trade with confidence on MEXC.
