MetroOpinion Unauthorized Account Creation And Data Privacy Concern
Today, I received a “thank you for registering” email from a company called MetroOpinion, even though I never signed up for their service. I did not create an account, I did not share my personal information, and I have had no prior interaction with this company.
After doing some research online, I found information suggesting that this company may charge users monthly fees under the guise of surveys and that there are concerns about potential scams. At this time, I do not see any charges or active subscriptions linked to my account, but the unauthorized use of my name and email address has caused serious concern.
If there is any account or subscription created under my name, email address, or personal data with MetroOpinion, I demand that it be immediately and permanently canceled. Otherwise, I will pursue legal action regarding the unauthorized use of my personal data and any potential financial harm.
