I Was Stranded 12 Hours on a Broken Bus With My Sibling
Our bus from Manavgat to Konya Ereğli was scheduled for 6:30 PM. A journey that normally takes 6.5 hours ended up taking 12 hours—because the bus departed with a known mechanical issue. Our safety was completely disregarded. After the bus arrived an hour late, it broke down just 30–45 minutes into the trip. We were left stranded for 4 hours on the side of the highway, right next to a cliff. I called the main office to file a complaint, and they weren’t even informed that the bus had broken down. Aside from the attendant Mr. Y***, the drivers made no effort to communicate with us. In fact, when the main office called them, they lied and claimed we had only been waiting for 10 minutes. I was supposed to arrive in Ereğli by midnight but only got there at 5:10 AM. My brother had been in a traffic accident and I was trying to get to him. There was also a sick man on the bus who had a medical episode, and the driver shamelessly argued with him instead of helping. We asked for a refund so we could take a taxi, but they refused. I will never use this company again—even if their buses were free. I demand a full refund. I was stranded for hours on the highway with my 13-year-old sibling, with no guarantee of our safety. We couldn’t use the restroom or get food. Please return my money.
