Merrell Hydro Runner Shoes Suffer Severe Heel Separation Within 8 Months

On December 25, 2025, I purchased a pair of Merrell Hydro Runner shoes from the seller SPX via Trendyol. I selected this product believing I was purchasing from a reputable brand and seller; however, after approximately 8 months of use, the shoes developed tears and significant deformation. The attached photos clearly display the tear and deterioration, particularly around the heel section. This condition fails to meet the expected lifespan and durability of the product.

Following the onset of this issue, I contacted both Trendyol and SPX customer service teams multiple times. Trendyol directed me to speak with SPX, while SPX redirected me back to Trendyol. I was bounced back and forth between the two parties without receiving any concrete resolution. Despite having completed a purchase on Trendyol where SPX was the official seller, this complete lack of accountability and failure to resolve my grievance is unacceptable.

I demand that the shoes be inspected for manufacturing defects/deformation, that the findings of this inspection be communicated to me in writing with detailed reasoning, and that the tears and deformation not be dismissed as user error. I request that my grievance be resolved through a return, replacement, or full refund.

If this matter is not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, I will submit an official application to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and other relevant legal authorities, backed by my invoice, order details, product photos, and customer service communication records. I request written updates regarding this matter and an immediate resolution to my grievance without further delay.
