Media Markt Took My Money but Never Delivered My Order
On April 1, 2025, I placed an online order using this email address for the "Zhiyun Smooth Q3 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer," choosing to pick it up from Media Markt located at Bodrum Midtown AVM. I paid ₺2,799. The estimated delivery date was shown as April 7, 2025. When I saw the message "Your order has been created" on both the website and app, I realized I had no idea where my order was or whether it would arrive, so I called customer service on April 6, 2025. I was told the item was in transfer and that I would receive a QR code once it arrived. On April 7, I called again using a relative’s phone and was told that the order had arrived and I could collect it from the store. However, 1.5 hours after the call, I still had no notification or QR code on my phone. When I called again, they repeated that the item was in transfer. I waited again, thinking it would still arrive. On April 8, while at school, I saw that I was called twice and called back at 16:13. Once again, I was told it was still in transfer. When I noticed no change in the order status and saw the product price had increased from ₺2,799 to ₺3,399, I checked the website and app and saw that the product was listed as in stock. I contacted customer service again and was once more told it was in transfer and they didn't know when it would arrive. A representative told me she would contact the Bodrum store and that they would call me. About an hour later, I got a call from the Bodrum store, and they told me the product still hadn't arrived. I asked why it was listed as in stock on the website and app, and they told me, "Your specific order hasn't arrived yet, but you can place a new one if you like." From a brand this corporate, I shouldn't be told to reorder the product—I should be told exactly when it will arrive. Also, your customer service representatives are clearly not consistent with one another. I ordered this item because I’m going on a trip soon, but it still hasn’t arrived, and no one can say when it will. I just want to receive my product, and if no one can say when it will arrive, that indicates a bigger problem. As of today (April 13, 2025), I’ve spoken to customer service every day. They say a request has been opened for my case and that email correspondence is ongoing. However, my app still shows “Your order has been created,” and I’m starting to believe the item will never arrive.

The other day I went to the store and learned from the lady there that 13 other people like me experienced the same issue due to a problem in the system. These victims were those who placed orders on the 30th, 31st, and 1st of the month. The lady told me that my product was newly shipped 2 days ago, and it arrived today.
