When I bought the iPhone 14, I was given a one-year free Mcafee protection plan. Before the year was even over, it was automatically renewed and the fee was charged. When I said I didn’t want this membership, they gave me a refund approval code. However, my bank said there was no such transaction. In a second conversation, I was told that the refund had been processed and would be reflected by my bank. Five days later, I contacted the bank again, and once more they said there was no such refund. I truly regret this experience. I'm writing this here, but I doubt the customer service representatives—who can’t even manage a simple refund—will care about this complaint. I just hope that anyone considering a purchase sees this comment during their research and takes it into account.
