Massimo Dutti Refused My Refund After Pants Were Ruined in One Wash

On June 11, I purchased a pair of Massimo Dutti pants (Model 5021) from the Massimo Dutti Emaar store for approximately $127. Without realizing that the care label stated "Do Not Wash," I washed the pants once on a gentle, low-temperature cycle. After that single wash, the fabric lost its original color, developed severe uneven discoloration, and became unwearable.

Although the label indicated that the garment should not be washed, I did not expect a pair of pants in this price range to deteriorate so dramatically after one accidental low-temperature wash. I also believe the store staff should have clearly warned me at the time of purchase that the product required such exceptional care and should never be washed under any circumstances.

On July 4, I returned the pants to the Emaar store for inspection. Throughout the review process, I received no updates or communication from the company. I eventually visited the store in person, where I was informed that the inspection had been completed and that my claim had been rejected.

As a premium brand positioned in this price segment, I expect Massimo Dutti to stand behind not only the quality of its products but also the quality of its after-sales service. I respectfully request a full refund for these pants, which became unusable after a single wash, and I ask the company to reconsider my complaint in light of the circumstances.
