Massimo Dutti Linen Suit Wrinkled and Lost Its Shape Within Minutes

I purchased a Massimo Dutti linen pants and vest set during the regular season on May 5 and May 7, 2026. The very first time I wore the outfit, it became extremely wrinkled and noticeably stretched within less than 10 minutes. The fabric quickly lost its structure, leaving both the pants and vest looking oversized, heavily creased, and almost baggy. As someone who has worn linen clothing from both Massimo Dutti and other brands for many years, I have never experienced a linen fabric that deteriorated so dramatically after such a short period of normal wear.

Because of this issue, I returned the items to the Massimo Dutti Zorlu store for inspection on two separate occasions. Both inspections concluded that there was no defect and that wrinkling was simply a natural characteristic of linen that could be removed by ironing. However, my concern is not ordinary linen wrinkling. This fabric behaves very differently from every other linen garment I own, becoming excessively wrinkled and losing its shape almost immediately after being worn, making the outfit unsuitable for everyday use.

On July 20, 2026, I also spoke with the store manager at the Zorlu location. I was again informed that the items had already been inspected twice, that no technical defect had been found, and that this behavior was considered normal for the fabric. Unfortunately, this explanation does not address the fact that I paid a premium price for a seasonal outfit that I have only been able to wear once because it becomes unpresentable within minutes.
