Mapfre Insurance Has Not Paid My Hospital Bill Despite Six Years of Loyalty

In May 2024, while we were overseas, my son had an accident in a park and ended up breaking his arm. We visited the hospital for treatment, and the total bill came to almost $8,200, which I covered myself. I've been a loyal customer of Mapfre Insurance for more than six years, holding a private health insurance policy that covers my entire family. I've consistently renewed it every year, yet here we are in December, and my claim is still unpaid. Every time I reach out, I encounter yet another excuse, and the problem is still not fixed. I find myself wondering if this company has been honest with me. I'm curious if anyone else with Mapfre Insurance has had a positive experience getting their reimbursements. I anticipate prompt resolution and clear communication about my claim.
