Mapfre Insurance Did Not Approve My Treatment Despite Coverage in My the Policy

On December 9, 2024, I found myself in the emergency room with a pneumonia diagnosis and was informed that I required inpatient treatment. Even though my policy with Mapfre covers inpatient treatment, we're still awaiting the insurance company's approval. When selling insurance, the approval process feels quick and seamless, but when it's time to utilise the coverage, everything seems to come to a halt. It has now been two days of waiting, and once again, Mapfre Insurance has shown itself to be an inadequate option for these important circumstances. I was hoping for a faster reply, given the seriousness of my medical situation. This delay has added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation, and I sincerely hope they will act swiftly to resolve this issue.
