Madame Coco Is Selling Products With Mismatched Measurements

On 28/08/2024, I purchased some products from your Madame Coco Sultangazi branch. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with these products. Purchase details are as follows: Transaction No: JP0039/0059Total Amount: ₺699.99. There are various issues with the purchased products (duvet cover set, pillowcases). The description stated that the pillowcases are 50 cm, but after washing the products to ensure hygiene due to the pandemic, I found that the actual measurement is only 46 cm. Furthermore, the duvet and all other products do not match the specified measurements, and there is a noticeable difference compared to similar products I have used before. This situation constitutes a "defective product" under Article 8 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, I am exercising my right to request a refund due to the defective product, as the product does not comply with the advertised terms and measurements. If my request is not fulfilled, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I kindly ask for your immediate attention to this matter.

Dear Madame Coco Customer, According to Article 8 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the definition of 'defective goods' also indicates that the product's salability has not been compromised. If a product has been washed, it should be examined to determine whether the defect is user-induced or due to a hidden defect (product quality). After the examination, if the defect is found to be due to the product itself, the process for exchange/return will be initiated accordingly.
