MAC Ruby Woo Formula Change Disappoints Longtime Users

51

Since 2010, I’ve used MAC’s Ruby Woo matte red lipstick for its rich, velvet-like texture and lasting matte finish. However, my recent purchase doesn’t compare to the original. The once-vibrant matte has been replaced by a shinier finish, and the texture feels thinner. When I asked in-store, a representative confirmed that the formula had changed.

Had I known about this decline in quality, I wouldn’t have paid a premium price. I even asked if the original formula would return, but the response was uncertain. This change may cost MAC loyal customers, myself included. I hope MAC considers reintroducing the original formula.
