Lyft Scheduled Ride Canceled Last Minute - No Guarantee?

for an early pick up in the morning, pickup in advance for ride to airport, 18 hrs in advance, ride was accepted, visa billed, there was only an hour to my ride and I saw it was canceled, what if I didn't see it?? I could've been sleeping or getting ready and how can you expect me to see it when I'm in a rush?? I guess There's not a thing you can do about it. Driver probably got a better paying ride on Uber and took it, what about us?? when I made a little research I learned, Lyft's policy is scheduled rides are not guaranteed, what is that? Never heard of anything lousier than this. Def not coming back, even to read about you!!
