I’ve been using the L'Oréal Paris Elseve Hydra Pure Scalp Serum with Salicylic Acid on my 11-year-old daughter for about a month to help manage her excessively oily scalp. At first, I thought it might help, but what we experienced has been absolutely heartbreaking.
After regular use, I noticed severe hair thinning right along her part line. Her scalp became visibly sparse, and the hair loss is shockingly concentrated. For the past two days, my daughter has been crying, terrified that her hair won’t grow back. No parent should have to watch their child go through something like this because of a product that’s supposed to be safe for regular scalp care.
There was no warning that this formula might cause hair fall, and we were never told it might be too harsh for younger users. I paid ₺ for a product that ended up causing more damage than the original issue we were trying to fix.
L'Oréal, we need immediate support and a clear explanation. Is this product safe for young users? Has this happened to others? I expect prompt attention from your team and a resolution that acknowledges the emotional and physical harm caused.
