My $41 L'Occitane Shaving Brush Fell Apart in Months

On September 22, 2025, I purchased the most expensive shaving brush available on the L'Occitane website at the time for $41 under order number 3033157682111350, assuming it would be of exceptional quality. While I expected to use this product for many years without issue, I noticed peeling on the handle within the very first month.
Despite seeing initial wear, I continued to use the product; however, on June 22, 2026, I noticed that the bristles were separating from the handle, rendering the brush virtually unusable. Such a breakdown is completely unacceptable for a product in this price range.
I reported the issue along with photographs to customer service by phone, and per their instructions, forwarded the images via WhatsApp. Today, on June 25, 2026, they contacted me to state that they could do nothing regarding the product. Both the rapid deterioration of the item and the company's dismissive approach have left me deeply disappointed.
I believe it is not normal for a product to degrade so quickly under standard use. Therefore, I primarily request a full refund of my purchase price; alternatively, if provided with a guarantee that I will not encounter the same defect, I would accept a product replacement with a new unit. I request that my case be re-evaluated and my grievance resolved.
