My Lee Cooper Jeans Faded Too Fast and the Store Blamed Me
Approximately two months ago, I purchased two pairs of Lee Cooper jeans from the Ceylanlar Diyarbakır store and paid approximately $97 for them. Within a very short period after the purchase, and well before even one month had passed, both pairs experienced severe color fading. As someone who has worn denim for many years, I do not consider it normal or acceptable for jeans to lose so much color in such a short amount of time.
When I returned the products to the store, the employees informed me that the company generally does not accept complaints related to color fading. Nevertheless, they agreed to send the jeans for inspection. After an evaluation process that lasted approximately one month, I was informed that my claim had been rejected and that the issue was considered user-related.
I strongly disagree with this conclusion. I did not use the products in any improper manner, nor did I do anything during washing or daily wear that could have damaged the fabric or caused such excessive fading. I find it unfair that responsibility for what appears to be a product quality issue has been placed entirely on me.
Furthermore, the amount I paid was not insignificant. For products in this price range, experiencing such dramatic color loss within weeks has completely damaged my trust in the Lee Cooper brand. When I attempted to contact customer service, I also struggled to reach a representative and felt unsupported throughout the entire process.
I am requesting a full refund for both pairs of Lee Cooper jeans on the grounds that they are defective products. I expect the full amount I paid to be returned and for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
