Around 100 days ago, I bought an LG Chem water purifier from Koçtaş. I purchased five units for myself, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousin, and mother. I had complete faith in the product and enthusiastically suggested it to my friends, only to realize that it was a major blunder. The technician who installed the unit for my mother hastily departed without conducting water tests, assuring her of a future visit. As a result of this oversight, my mother, who was feeling under the weather, chose not to consume the water, and we had to purchase water from an external source. She used it on a daily basis to make tea. What is the recommended daily water intake for an elderly woman? Finally, a friend inspected the machine and discovered that the filters were completely clogged, and the effectiveness of the aroma enhancer had diminished. He kindly offered to replace the discounted filters for ₺750. I couldn't believe it! It was particularly frustrating because we were unable to utilize the machine! Upon reaching out to the company, we were taken aback by their response. They insisted that there was no issue with the machine and suggested that the technician may have made that claim in order to promote filter sales. They requested images of the filters and reassured us of their safety. I declined, explaining that my elderly mother would be consuming this water, but they insisted it was safe. Now, I no longer have any faith. I feel incredibly disappointed by the brand I once held in high regard, and I'm contemplating expressing my frustration publicly by organizing a demonstration where I will gather all five machines purchased from Koçtaş and livestream their destruction outside the store. I have a strong sense of disappointment in my decision to buy products from these companies.
