JobLeads Premium Trial Charged Without Consent

March 26 12:23 PM8

I registered for a JobLeads Premium trial to test the service and decided not to use it. I did not actively use the membership and forgot to cancel it before the trial ended. To avoid any charges, I deliberately left no funds available on the card connected to my account, assuming that if a payment was attempted, it would simply not go through and I would be notified. Despite this, on 23/03/2026 an amount of AED 349.00 was successfully charged to my card from JobLeads, issued by Emirates Islamic Bank in the UAE, without any prior notice, explicit consent for the paid period, or warning that the payment would still be processed. As a result, my card now shows a negative balance, which I find unacceptable as I did not intend to continue with a paid subscription and had taken steps to avoid any charges. I contacted JobLeads support about two hours ago but have not yet received a satisfactory resolution. I request a full refund of the AED 349.00, cancellation of any active premium membership, removal of any negative impact caused by this transaction, and confirmation that no further amounts will be charged to my card in the future.
