JD Sports Refused The Refund for My Daughter’s Misspelled Name on the Jersey

Paying extra to have her name and age printed on the back, I bought a Manchester United shirt for her birthday from JD Sports. Her name was spelt wrong when the jersey arrived, even though I obviously entered the right information on the order form. When I contacted JD Sports about a refund or replacement, I was informed that personalised items with misspellings cannot be returned. I was surprised since the error was theirs rather than mine. This jersey cost £65, and on her big day I had nothing appropriate to offer her. Such a well-known brand not prepared to acknowledge their own mistake irritates me. This encounter has caused me to wonder about always shopping at JD Sports.
