J&T Express Charged More Than The Actual Cash On Delivery Amount
On July 25, 2026, I received a delivery from J&T for an order I placed via TikTok Shop, with order number 585179085083412295. In this order I had multiple products, most of which I had already paid for online, and only one item was set as Cash on Delivery for 269 pesos. When the rider arrived, I asked him how much I needed to pay, explaining that most items were already paid online and that there was only one COD item. He told me I had to pay 269 pesos, which I did. I then asked again if there was anything else on COD, and after he checked, he told me there was another COD amount, so I paid an additional 120 pesos. I gave him a total of 500 pesos, and he returned 110 pesos change. Later, when I checked my TikTok order details, I saw that only one item was actually under COD payment mode. This means I was charged more than I should have paid, and I feel that the J&T rider, whose name is Ramir Frane, was not honest with me about the COD amounts. I respectfully request that my identity be kept confidential, that this situation be thoroughly investigated, and that the extra amount I paid be fully refunded to me. I also ask that necessary action be taken regarding the rider so that other customers do not experience the same issue.
