If iTranslate keeps pushing a paid subscription for basic features and you want to use it free;

Use only the truly free parts;

• Stick to features that don’t require Premium, such as:
– Basic translation (text)
– Language detection
• Avoid tapping buttons that say “Pro,” “Premium,” or “Unlimited”

Turn off auto-renewal / subscriptions;

• iPhone (App Store):
– Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions
– Find iTranslate → Cancel Subscription

• Android (Google Play):
– Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
– Find iTranslate → Cancel Subscription

• If you bought directly on the website:
– Log in → Account → Subscriptions → Cancel there

Avoid accidental renewals;

• After cancellation, check your subscription status:
– Make sure it says “Will not renew”
• Screenshot the cancel confirmation

Don’t tap upgrade prompts;

• When the app shows “Unlock Premium,” “Upgrade,” or “Start Free Trial,” ignore/cancel out of them
• These are marketing upsells, not required for basic use

Use permissions wisely;

• Some “locked” features are tied to Premium only—don’t grant payment prompts or trials if you only want free use

If iTranslate still charges you despite canceling, contact Support or dispute through your app store/bank, and consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to pursue resolution.
