I just got out of the taxi, and I’m very furious. The taxi had license plate 34 TAC 86. Around 11:00 PM, my wife, my 5-year-old daughter, and I got into the taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, intending to go to Şemsettin Sami Street in Fatih. Although the driver didn’t even know where Fatih was, he couldn’t be bothered to open a navigation app. Thankfully, my wife insisted, and she opened it on her own phone. The driver said he would charge ₺270 if we took the tunnel, without explaining why. Then, he missed an exit on an empty road, possibly because he was either intoxicated or on drugs—his reactions were incredibly slow. He hesitated at a few exits, causing honking from behind us. Missing the exit added an extra ₺100 to the fare. The total should have been ₺1000, but he asked for ₺1450. He also claimed we took the highway. The total distance was 39 km; we went via E80 and passed through the tunnel. I paid ₺1400 but am in utter disbelief. Please assist me in recovering the ₺100 overcharge and the extra fees for the tunnel and highway. Thank you.
