I have been actively using my Instagram account @mustafa_uysun.16 for personal purposes for a long time, but it has been wrongfully suspended for nearly one year. Even though I have not violated any community guidelines, my account was suspended, and I was not provided with any clear, specific, or justified notification explaining the reason for this action.
In order to regain access to my account, I have repeatedly completed the identity verification and facial recognition steps provided within the app, exactly as requested and under proper lighting and environmental conditions. Despite submitting my ID photo and facial verification multiple times in suitable conditions, the system continues to reject the verification, the process never gets completed, and my account remains suspended.
Although the app states that the review will be completed within 48 hours, this period has passed many times without any response. Additionally, even though some users whose accounts were suspended at the same time have had their accounts restored, my account still appears as “under review.” This situation makes me believe that there may be a technical or system-related error affecting my account.
There is no paid advertising, sales activity, commercial use, bot or automation usage, or content that violates community guidelines on my account. Despite this, having my access completely blocked without a concrete reason and without an effective appeal or communication channel is unacceptable in terms of user rights.
For these reasons, I am requesting that my account @mustafa_uysun.16 be manually and thoroughly reviewed, that the reason for the suspension be clearly and transparently communicated to me, and that my account be restored immediately if no violation is found. I also request that, due to the verification processes being systemically stuck, I be provided with a functional and accessible alternative verification or appeal channel.
If this situation continues, I hereby inform you that I will exercise all my legal rights, including my rights under personal data protection laws.
