I Face Instagram Disabling My 20-Year-Old Account Without Explanation

My Instagram account named “canenglish”, which is connected to Facebook and has been active for about 20 years, was recently closed with the explanation that it violated community guidelines. This decision is absolutely unfair, as the account contained the accumulated work and success stories of our students over many years.

The account “canenglish” was very important to us because it was full of our students’ achievements and served as a long-standing portfolio and reference point. Despite this, it was suddenly closed, and we were not given a clear or detailed explanation about what was supposedly against the rules.

Since the closure, I have tried many different ways to appeal and contact support, including submitting forms and attempts through the app, but I have received no response at all. This silence is extremely frustrating, especially considering the age and importance of the account.

I kindly request that my 20-year-old Instagram account “canenglish” be fully reactivated so that we can continue to use it and access all past content related to our students’ successes. I also expect a clear explanation of the reason for the previous closure decision.
