ING Bank Created an Account Without Application or Approval
On January 20, 2026, we discovered that ING Bank had opened a bank account and issued a card in the name of my son, M**** T***** Ö*******,** without any application or request from him. Because my son previously experienced problems related to an account at another bank, this situation has caused us serious concern and anxiety.
For this reason, I am requesting that the account opened in my son’s name at ING Bank, as well as the card linked to that account, be immediately closed without ever being used. In addition, I request that mobile banking and internet banking access be completely blocked and disabled, as we are concerned that my son’s personal and banking information may have fallen into the hands of third parties.
I also request that all necessary security checks be carried out regarding my son’s personal information and any products opened in his name, and that I receive written confirmation that the account and card have been urgently closed.
