Shein and iMile Failed to Inform Me About Required Customs Documents
I placed a Shein order on 31 May 2026, with an estimated delivery date between 10 and 17 June 2026 to Johannesburg. Despite this promised timeframe, I still have not received any of my parcels. Throughout this period, the tracking status continued to show “in active transit,” so I kept waiting for the delivery. When the delivery did not arrive, I contacted Shein several times via email and through the support center. They informed me that they would escalate the matter, but I did not receive any concrete solution. I had already paid my import duties for this order, so I was expecting the shipment to be cleared and delivered without additional issues. Today, after I emailed iMile myself, I was informed for the first time that my order was marked as “abandoned” due to a supposed lack of documents required for customs clearance. Until this message from iMile, I had never been clearly told which documents were needed or that there was any outstanding requirement on my side. My tracking number is 6060126226657, and the status still appears as being in active transit, which is inconsistent with the claim that the order was abandoned. I find it unacceptable that my parcels were not delivered despite the import duties being paid and no clear communication about additional documents. I request that Shein and iMile urgently resolve this issue and ensure that all of my parcels under tracking number 6060126226657 are delivered to me as soon as possible, instead of being treated as abandoned.
