iHerb CollagenUP Has Bad Smell and Missing Scoop – Replacement Request

I placed an order from iHerb on July 15, 2026 for CollagenUP®, Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C, Unflavored, 1.02 lb (464 g), and received it on July 21, 2026. I have purchased this same collagen several times before and I know very well how it is supposed to smell and taste. However, this time the product arrived with a very strong and unpleasant smell, almost like clay, which is completely different from my previous purchases. Even after I close the bag, the smell lingers for quite some time, which makes me doubt the quality and safety of this batch. In addition, there was no measuring spoon inside the package, whereas every time I bought this product before it always came with a spoon. This reinforces my concern that there is something wrong or inconsistent with this particular batch. I contacted iHerb customer service and clearly explained the situation, stating that I wanted a reshipment because the product did not seem normal compared to my previous orders. Instead of trying to help, they sent me robotic responses and told me that I could return the product, but that the return cost would be at my expense. I did not ask for a return or a refund; I simply wanted the defective product replaced. I find it unfair that I should bear any extra cost when the issue is with the product I received. I request that iHerb reship this CollagenUP product to me free of charge and also issue a refund as compensation for the inconvenience and the lack of proper support I experienced. I expect this situation to be reviewed carefully and resolved without any additional cost to me.
