iData Germany Return Visa Appointment Still Awaiting Assignment

On August 7, 2026, I wanted to apply through iData for a visa to return to Germany. When I spoke with iData by phone, I was told that I needed to make the appointment online and that, as a former German citizen, we should select an appointment under the “young or retired people returning to Germany” category. We followed these instructions and submitted the application, but it is still showing as “awaiting assignment” and there has been no progress. The PNR number for my application is IDTBDFYNL3A.

I have two children, one of whom has autism, and schools in Germany have already started. My spouse is in Germany, while the children and I have been in Türkiye for 1.5 years, and our family has been seriously separated during this time. We urgently need to return to Germany, particularly to maintain the education and routine of my child with autism. Despite this, I have not been given any information about the current status of our application.

Although I have repeatedly tried to contact iData by phone, I have been completely unable to reach anyone. No one answers the phone, and I have not been provided with any information about the status of the process. We have been waiting for a long time, and this uncertainty is placing a significant strain on us emotionally and is also creating serious difficulties for our children's education and our family unity.

I request that my application be reviewed urgently, that the appointment assignment be made as soon as possible, and that the process be expedited with consideration given to my children's right to education, particularly the education and routine needs of my child with autism, as well as our family unity. At the very least, I request clear and specific information about the current status of my application and the estimated processing timeframe.
