I bought a brand-new Hyundai Tucson CRDI Elite in December 2019. Today, my car has been driven about 45,000 km. I have been feeling vibrations and sometimes even jolts when I accelerate for the past 8 months. I first told them about this problem in November 2022, when they were doing regular maintenance. The Hyundai Altnsoy team in Ankara went on a test drive with me and found that the problem was with the DCT clutch. They updated the software and told me to bring the car back to the service center if the vibrations didn't stop after at least 2,000 km of driving. I made an appointment and took my car to the service center on May 17, 2023, after driving about 5,000 km. After testing the clutch, they said that the values did not meet the Hyundai Assan threshold for replacing the clutch. They said I could bring the car back for a second look if the vibrations didn't stop. I have been driving my car with these tremors and vibrations for about 8 months. It can sometimes make it unsafe to merge onto main roads or speed up in traffic. I really wish I hadn't bought a brand-new car that was 3.5 years old. Driving has become a horrible thing to do. I have some questions for Hyundai Assan: 1. How can people trust you when you don't want to replace even a part worth about 1/150th of the car's resale value, even though you're confident in your 5-year warranty? Will you be responsible if my vehicle gets into an accident because of the vibrations and tremors? 3. Are you aware that by not standing behind a clutch system that breaks down in such a short amount of time, you're making your customers upset? They've been driving their 3.5-year-old cars for almost 8 months in discomfort and with less safety than they should have. 4. Since you don't want to replace even a cheap part under warranty on a car worth a million dollars, how will you handle repairs that cost more? 5. Does Hyundai's warranty policy apply in other countries the same way, or is it just for Turkey?
