I Got a Cracked Huawei D16 (2024) Screen Bezel Twice and Still Face System Failures

I bought the Huawei D16 (2024) laptop in September and was shocked to discover a visible crack on the top-right corner of the screen bezel the moment I unboxed it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t send it to service right away because I needed to use it regularly for my studies. When I spoke with customer service, they told me I could send it later, and they would take care of it.
I finally sent it to the technical service during the February break. Despite clearly stating that the crack was not caused by user error, I was charged a repair fee of around ₺1,100. I had no choice but to pay it to avoid further delays, even though I was convinced it was a manufacturing defect.
When I got the laptop back, the bottom-right corner of the bezel was now misaligned—and had developed a new crack. Now there are cracks in two corners, even though I’ve never dropped, hit, or mishandled the laptop. I always carry it in a protective case and treat it with extreme care.
Worse yet, I’ve noticed other Huawei D16 users reporting the same bezel cracking issue. This suggests a recurring design or production flaw, not an isolated case.
To make matters worse, I continue to suffer from system crashes. The laptop shuts down randomly, and the touchpad becomes unresponsive during extended use. I had reported these issues to the service team as well, but nothing was fixed.
As a student studying information technologies, I depend heavily on this machine for academic projects and daily coursework. The technical problems have wasted both my time and money. I paid around ₺35,000 for this laptop—a major investment—and now I feel completely let down.
