I lost my Huawei Watch Ultimate and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of real tracking support. When the watch was connected to my phone, it showed its location. However, the moment the connection was lost, the device became completely untraceable.
I contacted Huawei customer service, provided the serial number and MAC address, but they told me there is no way to locate the device once it disconnects.
This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering that Apple Watch can still send its last known location even after losing connection.
How can a company like Huawei, which markets its devices as having built-in GPS, fail to provide a basic lost device tracking feature?
If the GPS cannot help when the watch is lost, then advertising it as a selling point is misleading.
