Huawei Matebook r13 Charging Port Malfunction
I purchased a Huawei Matebook r13 laptop approximately 5-6 months ago from the Huawei store. I sent it for service due to a malfunction in the Type-C charging port. The service is provided by the company FixSmart. Everything was fine before, and communication with customer service representatives was at a high level. Then I was informed by the service that the Type-C port needed to be replaced, but since it is integrated into the mainboard, they need to replace the entire motherboard. While I purchased the laptop at a promotional price of around 6,500 ₺ from the Huawei Store, the cost of replacing the motherboard due to the charging port issue was quoted at 8,500 ₺. Because, according to them, it is necessary to replace the motherboard due to an issue with the port. Yes, you heard it right, replacing the motherboard due to a charging port issue! And they claimed that there was nothing they could do differently. Since I cannot afford this, I asked them to return the laptop to me, and now it just sits like trash. What should I do with a device whose charging issue I didn't even know about until the battery ran out? My request is for the laptop to be repaired and usable again or, if that's not possible, to provide a discount coupon for a replacement at a reasonable price, while retaining all the working parts. I kindly request the Huawei team to take this into consideration.
