Hotels.com Complaint About Poor Hygiene and Service at Didim Beach Resort Hotel

On September 13–15, 2025, my spouse and I stayed for two nights at Didim Beach Resort Hotel, booked through Hotels.com under travel itinerary 72066154619982, for which I paid ₺4,500 by credit card. While the room cleanliness was somewhat acceptable, the balcony was extremely dirty, and the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. From a hygiene and quality perspective, it was unacceptable. For example, there were only two jam jars, each with a spoon inside, both dirty and with brand labels still stuck on them. The tea glasses were unhygienic and practically undrinkable. As a result, we had to eat breakfast outside the hotel for both days.
When I reported these issues to a hotel staff member, I received a rude response: “You probably have never stayed at another hotel before.” I was also labeled as being aggressive. The only request that was addressed was the replacement of a broken shower hose, but I had to install the new one myself. None of my other concerns were resolved.
