On September 27–28, we stayed at Olenda Cappadocia Hotel through Hotels.com with reservation number 72066496559349. When we returned from dinner, we were unable to open our room door, and the hotel staff had to break the door open. We pointed out that this was a serious safety risk and requested another room, but they told us there were no other available rooms and forced us to stay in the one with a broken door. Since it was too late to find a bus or another hotel, we had no choice but to stay in an insecure room, and we could not sleep all night. The hotel management showed no effort to resolve the situation.
In addition, we were told that a dinner reservation had been made for us, but later learned that it was forgotten, and we were not informed. As a result, we went hungry for a long time. When we first entered the room, we were met with the bad smell from the pool, the toilet had no separate door, and there was no soap provided. Despite all these issues, the hotel management acted dismissively and sarcastically, showing no sense of responsibility or apology for what had happened.
I have videos with date and time proof of the broken door and the issues we faced, which I can share if needed. This was a terrible experience in terms of hygiene, safety, and service. We paid ₺6,097 by credit card. I request a refund to compensate for the inconvenience and poor experience.
