Honda Refuses Warranty Claim for Premature Mirror Discoloration on Forza 250
I took my Honda Forza 250 motorcycle to Kıvrak Motor service in Fethiye on March 16, 2026, due to discoloration on both the right and left mirrors. The mirror color started fading about six months ago, well before the bike reached one year of use. Since this issue appeared shortly after purchase, I believe it is caused by a manufacturing or material defect.
When I contacted the service center, the service manager refused to cover the issue under warranty. He suggested it might be sun damage or caused by applying a polishing-type chemical to the plastic. However, I have never used any chemical or polishing product on my motorcycle. Despite this, the issue was dismissed with various excuses, which left me seriously disappointed with both the Honda brand and the authorized service center.
I believe the company is not standing behind its product after the sale and is trying to shift the blame onto the customer. I am requesting that the discoloration issue on my Honda Forza 250 mirrors be evaluated under warranty and that the mirrors be replaced free of charge.
