Honda Forza Warranty Charge Dispute
I own a 2025 model Honda Forza 250 and on 17 February my motorcycle broke down, so the Yükseliş Honda roadside assistance team came and took the motorcycle to İzmir Yükseliş Honda service. At that point they told me that if the problem was due to user error there could be a charge, otherwise it would be covered under warranty. I clearly stated that there was no user error on my side. When I went to the service to pick up my motorcycle, they demanded a payment of ₺6,500 from me. As a justification they claimed that the air filter had taken in water and that I must have entered water with the motorcycle. Although I openly stated that I had not entered water with the motorcycle, they did not give any answer to my objection and no clear or satisfactory explanation was provided. Since there is no user error, I do not accept this fee, which I consider to be unfair. I request that my motorcycle be delivered to me under warranty, without any unjust charge, that my warranty rights be fully respected, and that a detailed, written and logical technical explanation be provided about the problem and the repair. If this issue is not resolved under warranty and this unfair charge is insisted upon, I declare that I will escalate the matter to Honda Turkey and, if necessary, to the relevant legal and consumer protection authorities.
